Event Info

Welcome to the information page for the Cemetech Star Wars Day PvP Event, a two-day event where Star Wars and Star Trek will battle for supremacy in Minecraft. For this event, players will split up into teams for Star Wars and Star Trek. You will also get to select a class within your team (class lists below). Each class gets different types of equipment. To select a team and a class, head over to the bazaar's main building and look for the spot with a lightsaber banner and a Starfleet insignia next to one another. Follow the directions on the signs and in the books within the chests to select your team and class.

Desert Temple Sabotage Maps

desert_surface_map Aerial view showing the Desert Temple Sabotage map and the safest land approaches to the desert temple. Semi-lit pathways traverse the map from the Star Wars spawnpoint to the Star Trek spawnpoint. Two bridges at opposite ends of the map provide a safe alternative to crossing the hazardous river. This is a mystic and assault-centric map for Star Wars and a scout-centric map for Star Trek, as the design of the surface and underground terrain will force Star Wars to press their attack and move in on positions in order to win before time expires.
desert_underground_map Aerial view showing the Desert Temple Sabotage map and the general positioning of the underground tunnel systems. Junctions and points of interest area labeled. Most labeled locations have some form of Easter egg or objective to complete.

Death Star Infiltration Maps

deathstar_top_map Aerial view showing the Death Star from the top. This view is somewhat restrictive to viewing various objectives, as is intended by the design scheme, but in this view you can see the team spawnpoints and the contested zone players will be combatting in. Similar to the desert map, this is an assault and mystic-centric map for Star Trek and a scout-centric map for Star Wars.
deathstar_side_map Side view showing the Deeath Star contested zone and some locations more clearly. Visible are the bridge, weapons access, power core, tractor controls and (hidden) detention center.

Endor Forest Domination map

deathstar_top_map Aerial view showing the Endor Forest map from above. As you can see from the map, the forest is played in the dark, with paths marked by torches on trees. A path of mossy cobble and dismal lighting makes it very easy to lose your way in the vast forest. In a scout-centric map, teams are advised to take control of sniping towers, on which their sniper class (scout/tactical) can survey the area with night vision and direct team mates on the ground as to the position of enemy players.
** This map is designed to force teams to be smart about their use of class. Waste your scouts, and you'll spend the entire match bumbling through the forest. Use them well, and you'll be able to flank opponents and surprise them in the dark! **
